Explorations on occult reality #1-On the possibility of mechanistic occult realm

[quote=“Johnathanrs, post:4, topic:2023, full:true”]

Love the paranormal field just doubt mostly everything publically about it thats available. Anything that is real is usually covered up pretty fast.

That is what I meant when I wrote “people themselves may hide from such things simply because they are informed it is “evil” to be curious about those things let alone practice.”

When it comes to your conclusions though, to be honest, i’m hesitant to get involved with any groups mainly for the same reasons that Confucious raised from my position. This is because it can be hard to work with others. Even within your post, I disagree with some of the points you raised as a example. To me, this requires exceptional people to pull off properly. Most who do dabble are in it for the thrills from my experience which admittedly originates from hollywood or entertainment adaptions like watching a viral video that most likely has a goal of achieving likes over maintaining accountability to the field of paranormal research.

THis is exact. My own path to the study of ideomoter effect was naturally enough based upon rumor rather than science for the simply fact that no science of any rigor had been done on it and for my part, I delved into it out of desperation rather than scientific curiosity. Simply put, I had reached a point where “the living” had nothing of substance to offer me, so I thought along the lines of "before I throw the towel in, I should at least try and get some answers from “the dead” and I approached the whole thing with ritual in order to at least show “anyone who might be looking” that I was approaching it with - not fear and trembling so much as with “all due respect”. The science came a little later, as my connection with this unseen voicing taught me (through my willingness to learn and do what I was asked) how to do the science - even that as I was been taught, I had no idea it was science I was being instructed to do.

One tip that I think is important for anyone considering entering the field as a beginner though is that under stress, exhaustion, or grief, the brain’s internal filters can degrade. It struggles to separate external reality from internal thoughts, dreams, or anxieties, leading to vivid hallucinations. (Referenced from online medical sites)

One must also attend caution to all things including this.
What I mean is that I approached device well stressed out and having “suffered” so-called hallucination, and exhaustion and grief too. In reading what you wrote I saw “me” as I was back then. If not, I likely would never had gone down that path and learned what I - thankfully - did.

I can also attest to the correct use of device awarded me in the long run and explained and alleviated whilst doing so.

Really like what you bring in your answers overall, both philosophically and personnal experience wise. Can you tell us more about what you discovered and learned through ideomotor effect that continue to gain your respect and attention?

I appreciate you saying so Phronax

That’s a story which spans over 26 years…
…at this point, since I am a new member and have those restrictions until I build up my trustworthy levels, it is probably better that I don’t say much about that for the time being. Perhaps when I get the right to do so, I might start a thread specifically about that.

However, I am happy to answer any questions you might have which won’t require as much depth and are relevant to the overall thread subject.

You talked to dead?? U know when something is dead there’s no connection of them with the world, in this case what u might have talked is another evil being.

Awesome, tag me when you begin the thread. It’s interesting to have the perspective from a careful mind.

There is a quote from Éric-Emmanuel Schmitt I really like and always remembered to this day :

“Sometimes you have to get lost to find something.”

This applies to so many things when you think about it.

Yes - one can see it that way. I think it was more along the lines of I had tried everything up to that point and some of those things had proven true so I carried these with me, but there were still some things that hadn’t been investigated and those things I still carried prompted me toward investigating ideomotor effect, although as I say, I didn’t know the scientific terminology when I first began to investigate…

Your idea of a “mechanistic hidden realm” reminded me of the “machine elves” people who are studying the influence of DMT report in their experiential encounters. Generally these are somewhat tricksterish (re Carl Jung’s Archetypes) and even appearing threatening with that.

I encountered no such entity behaviours fitting those descriptions during my ideomotor investigations…although there was one time when a trick was played on me, but that was in order for me to potentially learn how my belief systems functioned (and thus how easy it was to trick me) plus the lesson of trusting enough to step into the trick, then - once been told - having to distinguish between a joke which was made for the purpose of being inevitably helpful once I got over myself, so to speak…I sulked for a month and paused further device use until I worked through that sense of betrayal.

You talked to dead??

No. That was my ignorance at the time - my assumption which I went along with because I knew no better and was simply going off what other people had said about ideomotor effect - and “Talking Boards” as they were called before science explained the phenomena.

U know when something is dead there’s no connection of them with the world,

No, I don’t know that.I do know that this is one theory about what “goes on”…

in this case what u might have talked is another evil being.

The case has hardly been reported on, so not sure how anyone could make that call without first gathering the evidence toward that end.
I was not looking for “evil beings” to chat with anyway, and made that clear from the start of my investigations.

Rather, I was looking for entities which would give me answers I could investigate further.

Those, I found…and they pointed me to thoset things.

brother ,it was just an elimination method , as human cannot return, i assumed other possibility and last will be the evil being.
and you are also investigation things without any evidence of its existence or if that thing is saying the truth, like it even might be upper aliens controlling human with schemes.

The evidence of any sentient entity existing would be in whether it can communicate with me and whether the communication is sensible.

I have been through the “evil alien” (demiurge) thinking process in my late teens and early 20’s when I went through a period of thinking that the Abrahamic God fit the description of such an entity.
