Why did my new thread end up in my drafts?

I tried to post this inquiry in “Help,” but it didn’t go through there, so I’m posting it here.

A few days ago, I tried to post a new thread titled “The Law of Personal Interest and the Development of Civilization” in Social Philosophy, but the thread ended up in my drafts. Can you explain to me whether I did something wrong technically, or is there another reason for this?

I assume you pressed the wrong button. Go to your drafts, click the Pencil icon, then the Create Topic button.
