I’m new. I can’t fine any way to enter a personal profile, photo, etc. You may tell me how to find this, but I will suggest that you also make the means more obvious.
It’s because you can’t. You need to have a higher trust level (“registered” or “member”, I don’t remember) or something like that.
You can edit your profile by going to /my/preferences/profile, as shown below.
But uploading your own avatar and profile background is restricted. You need to either subscribe or wait till you reach Trust Level 2, which requires a few weeks of engagement in discussions.
I want to comment on the badge “Regular”.
This word reminds me of something that people say about their internal physiological plumbing. When I found out about the word, I cannot unthink it unless it is partnered with other words, such as, “Regular occurrence”, “Regular feature”. But as a stand alone word next to my username, I can’t help but read it as some people mean it. You know, in the toilet.
I like that this badge exists. It is a trust level. But I wonder if it could be renamed, such as “Active”.
But it’s good to be regular!
And some of us browse TPF on the toilet.

Sometimes I will print out a particular forum message and crumple it until the paper is very soft, and take it with me on my regular business.
Some toilet humour in here I see
