Depending on the legislation of certain countries cannabis has a different legal status. Yet some countries have justified law to penalise those that manufacture it. I don’t know the full reasoning behind it.

Some research suggests that habitual use of cannabis can cause various health problems mostly mental ones but then again other research shows that it can cure various physical ailments.
In light of this should it be legalised everywhere ?

On balance, it probably should. Even if that is just to redirect a large amount of money from organised crime to the government. Cannabis is also certainly less dangerous than alcohol, in my opinion.
Your point being ? I suppose society must have some safeguards as morphine is highly addictive and in the wrong hands causes numbness and death. Pain is a biological response and chronic use of morphine to alleviate pain is justified imo. What does legality have to do with it ?
Addiction is viewed in a bad light in most situations. The compounds we’re discussing, most of them cause dependence. There are many ways to approach the issue. How would you?

All I read was weed legal everywhere.
Cannabis is thought to be an entheogen, which gives it spiritual applications. Do enough of it with the right genetic makeup and you might become a theist for a while.

Nothing wrong with being a theist as long as one isn’t too dogmatic about it. Believing without evidence takes some doing
For practical intents and purposes the declassification of weed has both advantages and disadvantages. First of all I just can’t stand the smell of it myself so as long as it’s enjoyed in designated spaces like they do in Holland for example then I’m all for it.
Secondly as mentioned here in this thread the government can tax it and redirect that income to public expenditure and improve say mental health services as I have no doubt excessive use of weed can contribute to mental health issues in prone individuals.
