A couple of issues about the archives:
The search function does not include keyword search. That takes away a lot of its usefulness.
How do I get to the archive? Can you put a link to it under the categories tab?

For anyone unaware, TC is referring to the read-only website where the discussions from the old site are archived:
(NOTE: The archive will be updated with recent content just after the old site is closed to new posts around Feb 26th)
Point taken. I’ll see if I can get around to making the search more useful.
You’re right, there should be a link somewhere. Not sure about the categories tab. Maybe a pinned post?
In fact, I posted a topic yesterday in the Help section:
Isn’t that enough? I tend to think it is, but maybe I’m wrong.
Thanks for the responses.
I don’t think I’m willing to implement full-text search on the archive. Not right now, at least.
Luckily, there’s a free service that specializes in it: Google. So you can google this, for example:
site:archive.thephilosophyforum.com "critique of pure reason"
The only thing is that Google has not yet fully indexed the archive. That might take a few weeks.
