If Judas would have went to Jesus as He was nailed to that cross and repented, the Lord would have forgave him. Judas was killed by a false sense of hopelessness that his sin was so unforgivable that it wasn’t worthwhile to ask for forgiveness—not because of the gravity of his sin. Don’t let despair put the only true nail in your coffin: if you keep your flicker of light alive as the demons swoop by like vultures, then He will find you—the struggle is the victory.
