Several threads run through my life: gay; male; working class; socialist, the midwest, Protestantism. I have degrees but am still filling in large gaps in my education. I’m 79–not much time left to become learned. I have finally achieved non-belief in God, but we are still on good terms. My primary philosophical interest is figuring out what the hell is going on in the world–geologically, economically, atmospherically, socially, psychologically, historically.
