No, not all of them can be verified. But I think all of them need justification, whether it is ourselves we seek to persuade (that T is ‘true’), or others. Or, if there is no such justification available, that too is useful information.

True enough, but my words, above, still stand, I think.

To what end? Not in order to be true, they don’t. To be known, arguably; that J in JTB.

It seems odd to me that no one who embraces JTB will even approach, much less grapple with, the cave problem. To say the truth, I think some are even disturbed by my invitation to take it there.

I suspect that down deep you agree with me… that JTB cannot be taken into the field.
