Where I live (in the US), the word just isn’t used very often. I don’t think I’ve ever called anyone a cunt. It would be said to a woman to hurt her feelings, so I guess that’s why T-Clark is associating it with sexism, although it’s not inherently sexist. It just means despicable, but it’s a very mean spirited thing to say, and it would be a sign that the whole situation is going south. Somebody should call security.
We don’t use it to describe men.
Oh, that’s interesting. In the UK cunts are nearly always men. Women are slags. Well, increasingly so are men these days. It’s all becoming rather egalitarian.

I don’t know whether cunt is an ok word the world over other than in the US, but I do know it’s your favorite word, so, for all you do, you have my full support in protecting its casual use.

It’s really not. “Slag” is leftover rubbish or runoff. Basically another word for trash or that which is to be discarded. Same with basically every single insult across any culture or region.
Once again, it’s just noise little boys use to gain control of a situation they have no business being in in the bloody first place. But like always, the simpletons will ignore the truth in favor or what is pleasing to one’s impulse and emotion. That’s why smart people make the laws, and the rest, follow them. Or else.

It’s interesting that if you aren’t familiar with a curse word, it doesn’t seem bad. I’ll probably be calling everybody slags from now on, just because.
At work,my joke that caught on was to say, “stop being such a c-c-c bitch” as if you were going say cunt and then not.
It found universal appeal, catching on among both the ladies and gents, old and young.

Referring to Kant, one of the greatest philosophers, as a cunt is absolutely an unsupported ideological assertion.
The poster gives no reasons or analysis why Kant should be referred to in this way.

It sounds like a fallacy of blaming, scaremongering, appeal to fear or ad baculum.
Why blindly suggest to use any words with no context, no appropriation and no situation? Of course no one would do that. You know the answer yourself before suggesting.
That is totally up to the discretion, interpretation and decision of the site owners and moderators. It comes before the written Guidelines.
We just follow their dynamically decided guidelines according to the situations, and do our best to be in it.
Every guidelines has the small prints, and whatever they decide according to the situations, becomes the new Guidelines in enforce, I believe.
